My Experience at Portland State University

My experience at PSU has been overwhelmingly positive. It was important to me to not only find a program that aligned with my professional values and goals, but specifically within a cohort-based learning environment. The faculty are incredibly supportive, onboarding and advising staff have made the entry into graduate school as smooth as positive, and it’s incredibly rewarding to connect and learn from fellow cohort members with incredibly diverse backgrounds and experiences. I’ve particularly appreciated my program’s emphasis on peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

My Advice for Exploring Graduate Business School

I connected with a program ambassador before I applied and it was incredibly helpful while I was navigating my own decision-making process about graduate business school. My advice would be to reach out - to me or other ambassadors - we’d be happy to connect!

My Background

My background is in project management and communication. I graduated with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Business from Oregon State University. Shortly after graduation, I moved overseas to live and work in Southeast Asia, and since returning back to the United States have been working in the environmental nonprofit sector. I’m passionate about supporting organizations to achieve greater impact and am committed to using business as a force for good.
