Graduate Ambassador at Portland State University

I would highly recommend to look for two things in particular. First, the personal fit to a school's mission should align with your individual values. Second, the curriculum should provide value to your personal development.
After my studies, I will first pursue a PhD, writing about Smart City Development and Ethical Implications. Moreover, I plan to study conducting. Afterwards, I could imagine to go into the consulting business in the short-term, to work in the mobility industry in the mid-term and to become a professor in the long-term.
I am a German Fulbright student studying in the MBA program of PSU. Before joining PSU, I studied BSc International Business in one of Germany's leading business schools, ESB Business School Reutlingen. During and after my studies, I worked mainly in the automotive industry for Daimler AG in the product management department of the trucks and the electric cars as well as in the corporate strategy department at Robert Bosch GmbH, mainly working on IoT.
PSU has a wonderful faculty, great facilities to do sports and music and the city itself provides fantastic opportunities to have a fantastic time while studying. The MBA program is very progressive and innovative, staying on top of changes in the management world.
